The Parisian watchmaker Baltic has transitioned its popular Scalegraph series from a limited-edition offering to a core, permanent collection. This expansion introduces three new tricompax chronographs, marking a significant evolution in Baltic's commitment to vintage-inspired motorsport timepieces. The new range continues to draw inspiration from classic racing chronographs, first established with the Peter Auto Tricompax in 2022, and earlier with the neo-vintage Bicompax 001 from 2017. Subsequent releases, including the Tricompax x Tour Auto and Scalegraph Tour Auto 2025, have consistently reinforced Baltic's presence in the world of motorsport horology, often serving as official timekeepers for prestigious events.

Introducing Baltic's Enhanced Scalegraph Chronographs

The latest iteration of the Scalegraph chronographs retains the beloved tricompax dial layout while incorporating notable design and functional upgrades. The stainless steel case maintains a refined 39.5mm diameter but features a complete overhaul. The lugs are now more substantial, and the case lines boast a sharper profile. A subtle yet impactful change is the shift from a circular to a vertical brushing on the top of the lugs, enhancing the watch's overall sophisticated appeal. Crucially, the addition of screw-down pushers significantly boosts the water resistance to 100 meters, solidifying the Scalegraph's status as a robust sports watch.

These new timepieces are offered in three distinct dial variations: an elegant champagne, a vibrant blue, and a sophisticated grey. Each dial is perfectly complemented by a matching aluminum tachymeter bezel. The blue version captivates with a glossy finish, while the champagne and grey models present a metallic sheen. All three designs incorporate contrasting off-white guilloché sub-dials, framed by polished rings. This thoughtful detail not only adds depth but also visually separates the chronograph displays from the main dial. Polished steel dauphine hands for the hour and minute indicators, along with classic round indexes on the minute track, reinforce the watch's vintage character. Powering these exquisite chronographs is the hand-wound Sellita SW510-M movement, which is based on the robust Valjoux 7750. This movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and provides a substantial 63-hour power reserve. The Scalegraph collection is available with various strap options: an Italian calf leather strap is priced at EUR 1,640, while a choice of either a steel flat-link or beads-of-rice bracelet is offered at EUR 1,700 (prices exclude taxes). These models are slated for release on June 25, 2026, with deliveries commencing on June 29, 2026.
