MeisterSinger Unveils Panthero Jumping Hour with Light Blue Guilloché Dial

October 05

MeisterSinger is commemorating its 25th year with a fresh interpretation of its acclaimed Panthero Jumping Hour series. This latest model showcases an exquisite light blue guilloché dial, accented with subtle dark grey details. Building upon previous successful launches, including models with black, white, grey, blue sunburst, and golden yellow sunburst dials, this new version continues the signature single-needle minute indication and the innovative jumping hour mechanism, which transitions precisely at the start of each new hour. This release adds another layer of sophistication to an already celebrated collection.

The updated Panthero Jumping Hour retains the robust stainless steel casing of its predecessors, measuring a balanced 40.5mm in diameter. Its design emphasizes dial visibility through a slender bezel, while a blend of brushed and polished finishes adorns the case. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, and a transparent caseback offers a view of the intricate movement within. The timepiece also boasts a water resistance rating of 50 meters, ensuring durability for everyday wear.

A highlight of this new timepiece is its dial, meticulously crafted with a genuine guilloché technique that results in a captivating light blue hue. The intricate pattern is achieved using traditional, hand-operated machinery before the color treatment is applied. Contrasting against this vibrant backdrop are the dark grey elements, including an off-centered minutes ring with white double-digit markers for five-minute intervals, the singular minute hand, and MeisterSinger's distinctive sun wheel design. The jumping-hour display is elegantly positioned at the 12 o'clock mark, with the sun wheel subtly overlapping the lower portion of the minutes track.

Powering this sophisticated watch is the MS-JH-01 automatic movement. This caliber is built upon the reliable Sellita SW300 base, a well-regarded alternative to the ETA 2892, and incorporates a specialized jumping-hour module developed by Dubois-Dépraz specifically for MeisterSinger. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a power reserve of approximately 47 hours, ensuring accurate timekeeping and a smooth operational experience for the wearer.

Completing the elegant presentation, the watch is fitted with a rich cognac-colored calfskin strap, featuring a refined crocodile-embossed texture. It is secured with a convenient double-folding clasp. This special edition, known as the MeisterSinger Edition Panthero Jumping Hour Guilloché, is an exclusive offering, limited to only 25 units. Each piece is priced at EUR 7,990, inclusive of VAT, making it a collector's item for enthusiasts of unique horology.

This new release showcases MeisterSinger's commitment to combining traditional craftsmanship with distinctive time-telling mechanisms, offering a unique and elegant timepiece for collectors and enthusiasts alike. The limited availability further enhances its appeal as a special anniversary model.
