Stephanie Gottlieb Unveils Lab-Grown Diamond Collection and Movado Watch Collaboration
Stephanie Gottlieb introduced two significant collaborations in October, bringing her distinctive style to Movado timepieces and broadening her reach through a wholesale partnership for a lab-grown diamond collection with Sofer Jewelry.
The Stephanie Gottlieb x Sofer Jewelry collection, which debuted on October 12, showcases 85 unique styles, each featuring prominent lab-grown diamonds in various settings. This marks Gottlieb's first foray into wholesale partnerships, notable given her prior tenure at Sofer Jewelry before establishing her own brand. Renowned for her natural diamond creations, Gottlieb began incorporating lab-grown diamonds in July, releasing two capsule collections and collaborating with the brand Casual Carats. She views lab-grown diamonds as an opportunity to explore innovative designs, making them accessible to a wider wholesale audience through Sofer.
This collaboration also represents Sofer's inaugural branded lab-grown diamond collection, encompassing three distinct assortments: Undecided Prong, Fancy Bezel, and Perfectly Imperfect. These pieces, crafted in 14k white and yellow gold, range from 0.25 ct. to over 40 cts. t.w., with retail prices spanning from $790 to more than $30,000. Further styles are anticipated in 2027. Gottlieb stated, "Lab-grown diamonds enable me to innovate differently. We can create bolder designs, experiment with various shapes and combinations, and craft pieces that truly embody fashion, individual expression, and the sheer joy of wearing diamonds." Meanwhile, the Stephanie Gottlieb x Movado collection, launched on October 14, features timepieces adorned with Movado's iconic Museum Dial. This collection integrates natural stone dials, bezels embellished with gemstones, and vibrant leather straps. Gottlieb commented, "Movado's renowned Museum Dial served as an ideal canvas for infusing my signature touch of color. Our aim was to design watches that evoke both joy and timeless elegance – pieces you'll choose to celebrate life every day." The collection includes 25 mm Museum Velura watches, blending classic design with Gottlieb's characteristic gemstone aesthetics. Four limited-edition models showcase natural stone dials, combining turquoise with pink tourmaline, malachite with green garnet, sodalite with iolite, and pink jade with pink tourmaline, retailing at $2,295 each. Additionally, Gottlieb designed three 21 mm Museum watches: one with a pink sunray dial and a raspberry leather strap in a rose gold-finished case; another with a light blue sunray dial and a navy leather strap in a stainless steel case; and a third featuring a light green sunray dial and a teal leather strap in a yellow gold-finished case, all priced at $795. A standout piece is the 25 mm gemstone watch, boasting a yellow gold sunray dial and a rainbow gemstone bezel, set with citrine, yellow sapphire, peridot, green garnet, Swiss blue topaz, London blue topaz, iolite, amethyst, pink tourmaline, and spessartite. This watch, paired with a mesh bracelet, retails for $2,295.
These partnerships highlight a dynamic fusion of innovation and artistic expression in the jewelry and watch industries. By embracing both traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge materials like lab-grown diamonds, Stephanie Gottlieb continues to push creative boundaries. Her collaborations with Sofer Jewelry and Movado not only offer consumers exquisite new options but also reflect a forward-thinking approach to design and market expansion. This commitment to evolving aesthetics and accessibility fosters a vibrant and inclusive future for luxury accessories, encouraging self-expression and delight in every meticulously crafted piece.
