Bremont Unveils Supermarine Full Ceramic Deep Blue Limited Edition Dive Watch
Bremont has unveiled a new limited-edition model, the Supermarine Full Ceramic Deep Blue, a striking addition to its recently re-envisioned dive watch series. This timepiece, limited to 250 units, maintains the collection's core technical specifications while introducing a fresh color palette, drawing inspiration from the profound depths of the ocean and the icy expanses of the poles. It joins previous iterations like the Polar White, Jungle Green, and Tactical Black, reinforcing Bremont's commitment to high-performance materials and impressive water resistance.
The 43mm casing of this Supermarine model is meticulously crafted from blue ceramic and titanium, boasting a slim profile of 13mm in thickness and a lug-to-lug measurement of 50mm. Despite its substantial presence, the watch is remarkably light, weighing only 74 grams. A unidirectional titanium bezel, adorned with a matching blue ceramic insert, frames a domed sapphire crystal that is treated with an anti-reflective coating for optimal clarity. The watch's robust design includes a screw-down crown positioned at 3 o'clock and a helium escape valve on the opposing side of the brushed mid-case. The titanium caseback, finished with blue PVD, features an intricate engraving depicting a map of the world's oceans, underscoring its impressive 500-meter water resistance.
The Deep Blue variant showcases a sophisticated black dial characterized by a distinctive three-dimensional wave pattern. It features a combination of applied trapezoidal and circular markers, each outlined in black. These trapezoidal markers extend from the bezel onto the dial, forming a naval-inspired crosshair at the center. A white printed minutes track encircles the inclined black inner flange, highlighted with markings for 15, 45, and 60 minutes, and a subtle 'London' at the 6 o'clock position in an orange hue. The date display, situated at 3 o'clock, integrates seamlessly with a black date wheel. Time is indicated by polished black-gold hour and minute hands, complemented by an arrow-tipped central seconds hand. All markers and hands are generously coated with blue-emitting Super-LumiNova for excellent readability in low-light conditions.
Echoing its predecessors in the Supermarine Full Ceramic line, the Deep Blue is powered by Bremont’s Calibre BB64AH, an automatic movement based on the reliable Sellita SW300. This movement offers a substantial power reserve of 56 hours and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It incorporates a Glucydur balance wheel, an Anachron balance spring, and a Nivaflex mainspring, ensuring precision and durability for adventurers and watch enthusiasts alike.
Customers have the option to personalize their Deep Blue watch with three distinct strap choices: a resilient black-and-blue woven NATO strap, an elegant blue embossed rubber strap with a leather lining, or a practical black rubber chevron strap. The latter two options are equipped with a convenient quick-release mechanism. This limited-edition model, restricted to 250 units, is priced at EUR 7,750, irrespective of the chosen strap, offering a blend of exclusivity, advanced engineering, and refined aesthetics for discerning collectors.
