Girard-Perregaux has recently unveiled four new additions to its esteemed Laureato collection, enhancing the line that celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. These latest references are available in two distinct case sizes: 36mm and 39mm, offering enthusiasts more choices in design and dimension. This expansion highlights the brand's ongoing commitment to evolving its iconic models while retaining their classic appeal.

The newly introduced models share core characteristics, including the signature octagonal case design and the in-house GP4800 movement. For the 39mm versions, customers can choose between an 18k rose gold-toned dial featuring a 'Clous de Paris' motif and a date display, or a captivating deep blue enamel dial, also adorned with the same intricate pattern. The 36mm variants offer a rose gold-toned dial without the date function, and a silver-toned 'Clous de Paris' dial complemented by a bezel set with 64 brilliant-cut diamonds, collectively weighing approximately 0.55 carats. Each timepiece is presented on an integrated steel bracelet, secured with a triple-folding clasp that includes a 4mm micro-adjustment feature, and boasts a water resistance of 150 meters, ensuring both elegance and durability.

The GP4800 automatic movement, first introduced by the manufacturer in the previous year, operates at a frequency of 4 Hz and provides a substantial 60-hour power reserve. Its sophisticated architecture draws inspiration from Girard-Perregaux's renowned 'Three Bridges' lineage, a design philosophy that dates back to the 19th century. A notable detail of this movement is its balance bridge, meticulously crafted in rose gold, adding a touch of luxury and showcasing the brand's attention to detail. This intricate design, combined with 10 distinct finishing types, underscores the watchmaker's dedication to high-horology craftsmanship.

These four new Laureato models are currently available for purchase. The 39mm blue enamel version is priced at $24,500, while the 39mm rose gold-toned dial model retails for $23,100. Similarly, the 36mm rose gold-toned dial also comes in at $23,100, and the diamond-set 36mm variant is offered at $24,200. These price points reflect the exquisite materials, intricate movements, and meticulous craftsmanship inherent in each piece.

The collection's enhanced variety addresses previous feedback, particularly regarding the limited dial color options in earlier releases. The introduction of diverse colors and diamond settings, alongside the switch to an all-steel bracelet, signifies meaningful improvements that elevate the Laureato line.
